Applications are now open for the Geneva Peace Fellowship 2026/27, a prestigious international program that will bring emerging leaders, peacebuilders, researchers, and humanitarian professionals to Geneva, Switzerland, for nine months of intensive learning, mentorship, and practical experience.
Hosted through a collaboration between Interpeace and the Geneva Graduate Institute, with support from the Foundation for the Adaptation of International Geneva, the fellowship aims to develop the next generation of leaders working in peacebuilding, humanitarian diplomacy, and conflict resolution.

About the Geneva Peace Fellowship

- Faith-Based Diplomacy and Peacebuilding: Understand how religious institutions and faith communities contribute to peace and reconciliation efforts.
- Youth Leadership and Peacebuilding: Promote youth engagement, civic participation, and leadership in peacebuilding initiatives.
- Protection of Civilians: Address challenges related to armed conflict, displacement, humanitarian access, and emerging technologies.

Eligibility Criteria
The fellowship welcomes applicants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Recent Graduates: Applicants may apply if they are:
- Master’s degree graduates who completed their studies within the last 12 months
- Advanced PhD candidates transitioning into policy or professional practice
Junior Professionals
- Applicants with 1–4 years of relevant professional experience
Mid-Career Professionals
- Applicants with 5–10 years of professional experience
Applicants should also demonstrate:
