Fully Funded Trip to Portugal in 2027: Apply for the ICANN88 Fellowship

Applications are now open for the ICANN88 Fellowship Program 2027, a fully funded opportunity for emerging leaders, professionals, and Internet governance enthusiasts to attend the ICANN88 Community Forum in Lisbon, Portugal, from 13–18 March 2027.

The fellowship supports participants from underserved and underrepresented communities by providing training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in global Internet governance and digital policy.

Fellowship Benefits

Travel support to attend the ICANN88 Community Forum in Lisbon, Portugal
Fellowship training before, during, and after the meeting
One-on-one mentorship from experienced ICANN community members

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

Be at least 21 years old
Have an interest in Internet governance, cybersecurity, digital policy, domain name systems (DNS), or ICANN’s work
Complete the required ICANN Learn courses
Not be participating in another ICANN-supported travel program
Have received no more than two previous ICANN Fellowships
Returning applicants must demonstrate continued engagement with the ICANN community
