Broad Summer Research Program 2026 in USA (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Broad Summer Research Program (BSRP) 2026, a fully funded initiative by the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. This 9-week program offers students the chance to conduct cutting-edge biomedical research with a focus on genomics, while engaging with leading scientists from Harvard and MIT.

The program is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and non-U.S. citizens with employment authorization. There is no application fee, and all program expenses are covered. No prior research experience is required, making it accessible to students who are new to STEM research.

Eligibility Criteria

Currently enrolled in a four-year U.S. college for Fall 2025
Graduation date of December 2026 or later
Majors in physical, biological, or computer sciences, engineering, or mathematics
Minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0
U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or non-U.S. citizen with employment authorization
Strong interest in pursuing graduate school (Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D.)
Students with limited exposure to STEM are encouraged to apply
No prior research experience required
