Applications are officially open for the MEXT Japan PNST Fellowship 2026 at the Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech). This prestigious program is a fully funded opportunity jointly offered by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the Government of Japan, and Kyutech.
The fellowship will select up to three Master’s students and three Doctoral students to pursue advanced research in nano-satellite technologies. Awardees will receive the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, covering all academic and living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

- Nomination: Must be officially nominated by your home institution.
- Age: Born on or after April 2, 1991.
- Education:
- For Master’s: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering-related field.
- For PhD: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering-related field.
- Note: Degrees in other technology-related fields may also be considered.
