Are you a young African passionate about tackling climate challenges? The African Youth Bootcamp for Climate (AYBC) 2025 is now accepting applications! This fully funded, six-month program is designed to empower the next generation of climate leaders across Africa. Whether you’re working on an environmental initiative or nurturing a fresh climate-focused idea, this is your chance to take it to the next level.
What is AYBC?
The AYBC is more than just a bootcamp—it’s a transformational launchpad for aspiring green innovators. Over the course of six months, selected participants will receive:
- Expert-led training
- Tailored mentorship
- Support to refine and scale climate solutions
- Connections with top climate experts and changemakers
- Opportunities to participate in major climate events
Participants will collaborate on initiatives aligned with global sustainability goals, including:
- Clean Energy Access (SDG 7)
- Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security (SDG 2)
- Climate Action and Resilience (SDG 13)
Whether you’re building a startup, running a community project, or developing a concept, AYBC will provide the tools and network to amplify your impact.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for AYBC 2025, you must:
- Be 18 to 35 years old
- Be based in Africa or working on a climate-related initiative that benefits African communities
- Have a climate-related idea, early-stage project, or established initiative
- Commit to fully participating in both the virtual and in-person phases
- Demonstrate passion, innovation, and a commitment to climate action
