The Global Call for Startups 2026 is now open, offering early-stage founders the chance to scale innovative solutions transforming the global food system — while gaining international exposure and support.
This global initiative is powered by top ecosystem players including Accenture, Katapult, and the Norrsken Foundation, all working together to support startups building a more sustainable, equitable, and technology-driven food future.
About the Program
The Global Call for Startups is designed to identify and support high-impact, early-stage ventures tackling some of the biggest challenges in food systems today.
Selected startups will receive mentorship, investor access, and the opportunity to pitch live at Norrsken Impact Week in Barcelona, one of Europe’s largest gatherings of impact-driven innovators, investors, and policymakers.
Focus Areas
Startups working on scalable solutions in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Regenerative agriculture technologies and inputs
- Agricultural technology (AgTech) solutions
- Supply chain infrastructure and food intelligence systems
- Sustainable ingredients and healthy food innovation
- Food distribution and access solutions
Projects must show real, measurable impact toward sustainable and inclusive food systems.

Selection Criteria
Startups will be evaluated based on:
- Impact on sustainable food systems
- Innovation and technology strength
- Market readiness and scalability
- Customer validation or traction
- Growth strategy and capital efficiency
- Strength of the founding team
- Alignment with global sustainability goals
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, your startup must:
- Be in Pre-Seed to Series A stage
- Have a validated or emerging solution
- Show strong scalability potential
- Demonstrate early traction, partnerships, or testing
- Be open to founders from any country worldwide
