The German Bundestag Scholarship 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for young professionals from Southern, Eastern, and Western Africa to gain hands-on experience in German politics and public service through a 3-month stay in Berlin.
Eligibility
- Nationality: Citizens of eligible African countries
- Age: 25–35 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience: 1–2 years in civil society, politics, media, or public service
- Language: Fluent in English (B2); Basic German (A2 preferred)
- Other: Interest in democracy, leadership skills, commitment to return home after program
What the Scholarship Covers
- €700 monthly stipend
- Free accommodation in Berlin

- Access to Bundestag events, cultural programs, and professional development
