Applications are now open for the HAN University Scholarships 2026 in the Netherlands. International students from non-EU/EEA countries can apply for funded bachelor’s and master’s degree scholarships at HAN University of Applied Sciences for the 2026/27 academic year.
The scholarships are offered in partnership with the Dutch government and higher education organizations in the Netherlands to support talented international students pursuing higher education in Europe.
Scholarship Benefits
Bachelor’s Scholarships
HAN NL Scholarship
- €2,500 in the first semester
- €2,500 in the second semester
- €2,500 annually for the following three years
Students must earn at least 45 credits each year to continue receiving the scholarship.
Honors Scholarship
- €2,500 per year starting from the second year of study
- Available to high-performing students who meet academic requirements
Master’s Scholarships
HAN NL Scholarship
- €5,000 during the first year of study
- Paid in two installments of €2,500 per semester
Honors Scholarship
- One-time payment of €2,500
- Awarded to outstanding students based on academic performance

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be from a country outside the EU/EEA
- Not have previously earned a degree from a Dutch institution
- Not have previously studied at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences
- Receive admission to a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN University
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90)
