Talk Talk Korea 2026 is now open, giving people from around the world the opportunity to showcase their creativity and share their first experience with Korean culture.
The international Korean culture contest is organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS).
The theme for this year is “My First K-Culture Moment.” Participants are invited to tell the story of how they first discovered K-Culture and how that experience influenced or inspired them.
Selected winners can receive travel support of up to US$2,000, along with other cash prizes and awards.

2. Photo Book
Create a photo book that tells the story of your first encounter with Korean culture through photographs.
Your images should communicate your personal experience and the story behind your connection with K-Culture.
3. Drawing & Illustration
Create an original drawing or illustration representing your first K-Culture experience.
This category gives artists an opportunity to interpret the theme visually using their own creative style.
4. Writing
Submit a slogan and written proposal explaining your first K-Culture experience and how Korean culture has influenced you.

The competition is open internationally.
