Applications are now open for the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship 2026. This prestigious six-month program includes an intensive two-week in-person training in Washington, D.C. and is open to professionals from around the world.
The fellowship equips participants with the skills to leverage government data for problem-solving and service improvement, helping public institutions become more efficient and citizen-focused. Importantly, there is no application fee, and selected fellows from ODA-eligible countries will receive full financial support, including travel, accommodation, meals, and living expenses.

Program Structure
- Phase 1: Two weeks of full-time training in Washington, D.C.

- Fellows will design and implement a real-world government analytics project addressing a critical challenge in their organization.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Be from any country worldwide.
- Work as a manager or senior analyst in a central government agency.
- Have the authority to initiate a data project in their institution.
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills (math/statistics).
- Be proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Receive an official nomination/endorsement from their organization.
