Applications are now open for the GreenX MENA 2025 Regional Youth Forum, a fully funded opportunity for young changemakers from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The event will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, from October 29–31, 2025 (with possible slight adjustments to dates).
Organized by the Arab Youth Green Voices Network in partnership with Green Gate 4 MENA and supported by the Dutch government, the forum will focus on the theme:
“Youth for Water and Climate Resilience.”
About the Forum
The GreenX MENA Forum is the first regional platform designed to empower youth voices in climate and water resilience. It aims to:
- Elevate youth-led perspectives on climate change and water challenges
- Explore the links between social justice, equity, and sustainability
- Co-create actionable solutions in line with SDGs 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation) and 13 (Climate Action)
Outcomes from the forum will contribute to a youth-driven action plan and policy paper, which will be presented at major international events including:
- COP30 in Belém (2025)
- UN Water Conference in Dubai (2026)
- World Water Forum in Riyadh (2027)
Who Can Apply?
- Young people aged 18–35 from MENA countries
- Applicants must be citizens of the region (residing in MENA preferred)
- Demonstrated interest or experience in:
- Climate action
- Water issues
- Policy advocacy
- Social equity
- Youth-led environmental initiatives
- Climate action
Note: Applications must reflect original thoughts and experiences. Submissions generated by AI tools will be disqualified.
Program Benefits
Selected participants will receive full funding, including:
- Round-trip travel to Tunisia

Eligible Countries
Applicants must hold nationality from one of the following MENA countries:
Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
