- Duration: 18 months (3 semesters)
- Credits: 180 credits
- Mode of Study: Blended (Online + In-person in Rwanda)
This program is designed to train the next generation of health education leaders who can design, lead, and transform health professions education across Africa. It equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to shape national health policies, lead academic institutions, and improve healthcare outcomes through innovative teaching, curriculum development, and research.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be 35 years old or younger (exceptions for applicants with disabilities)
- Be citizens, residents, or refugees in an African country
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
- Have experience in teaching, clinical education, supervision, or academic leadership (preferred)
- Submit an institutional endorsement/recommendation letter (if employed)
- Not already hold a master’s degree (for Mastercard Foundation scholarship applicants)
