The KAIST University Undergraduate Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications for the Fall 2026 intake in South Korea. This prestigious scholarship allows international students to pursue their undergraduate studies at one of Asia’s top science and technology universities.
KAIST offers the “KAIST Full Scholarship” covering full tuition fees, living expenses, and health insurance. Applicants from all countries are eligible, including international students currently enrolled at another university. No TOPIK (Korean language) certificate is required, and students graduating by August 2026 can also apply for the Regular Track.

Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive:

Note: No separate scholarship application is required. All admitted students automatically receive the KAIST Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the KAIST Undergraduate Scholarship:
- Must be an international student (non-Korean citizenship)
- Applicants of Korean origin must have completed their entire elementary, middle, and high school education outside Korea
- Students with Korean citizenship (including dual citizenship) are not eligible
- Must pay the application fee
- Maintain a GPA of 2.7 out of 4.3 after the freshman year

Submission of TOEFL, IELTS, or other English proficiency test scores is recommended but not mandatory. Lack of test results will not disadvantage applicants.
