The Policy Leader Fellowship (PLF) is a five- to ten-month program designed for mid-career professionals from diverse policy areas—including politics, civil service, media, non-profit work, and more. The fellowship brings together 20–25 global leaders each year, giving them the space to engage with policy experts, participate in high-level training, and develop impactful policy solutions.
No English language test is required, and the program covers all major expenses.

Program Duration Options
Applicants must select one of the following:
- Five-Month Fellowship: September 2025 – January 2026
- Ten-Month Fellowship: September 2025 – June 2026
Financial Benefits
The EUI Leaders Fellowship provides generous financial support, including:
- Monthly Stipend: €2,500
- Household Allowance: €300 per month
- Child Allowance: €200 per dependent child per month
- Travel Allowance: Up to €1,200 for travel (first-class rail or economy airfare)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the fellowship, applicants must:
- Be of any nationality (EU citizenship not required)
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Have no age limit
- Possess at least 10 years of relevant mid-career experience
- Demonstrate work focused on policy-relevant themes aligned with STG’s priority areas
