Calling all climate journalists! Applications are now open for the CCMP COP30 Reporting Fellowship 2025, a fully funded opportunity to report live from the UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, from November 10 to 21, 2025.

Hosted by the Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP), this prestigious program will bring together selected journalists from low- and middle-income countries to cover one of the most important climate events in the world.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to professional journalists from low- and middle-income countries who meet the following criteria:

Citizenship: Must be from an eligible low- or middle-income country (check the official list).
Professional Background:
- Employed by or affiliated with a recognized media organization (print, online, radio, or TV)
- OR working as a freelance journalist
Language: Proficiency in English
Experience: Proven track record in covering climate change or environmental issues
Documentation:

- Work samples showcasing previous climate/environment journalism
