Applications are now open for the UNIDIR Graduate Professional Program 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. This fully funded six-month training opportunity is offered by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and welcomes international graduates from around the world.
The program will commence on 1st December 2025, providing participants with a monthly stipend of USD 1331 to support living expenses in Geneva. No prior professional experience or IELTS test is required, and there is no application fee.

Key Responsibilities
- Support UNIDIR’s communications strategy and editorial planning.
- Manage website content updates, event posts, and publications.
- Create and distribute email campaigns such as newsletters and invitations.
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure alignment with UNIDIR’s brand voice.
- Provide media and logistical support for events, including photography and videography.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital content creation and multimedia design (Canva, Photoshop).
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and Trello.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to applicants of all nationalities.
- Must hold a university degree and begin the program within one year of graduation.
- A postgraduate qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or international relations is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign is required.
