The scholarship recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and creativity. It covers the full cost of studying an undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto.

Scholarship Benefits
Recipients will receive:

- Full residence accommodation for four years
The scholarship is available only for first-entry undergraduate programmes at the University of Toronto.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be an international student who requires a Canadian study permit.
- Be in your final year of secondary school during the 2026/2027 academic year, or have graduated no earlier than June 2026.
- Be starting undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2027.
- Be nominated by your secondary school.
You are not eligible if:
- You are already enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
- You will begin post-secondary studies before September 2027, including at the University of Toronto.

How to Apply
To apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship, follow these steps:
Step 1: Get Nominated
Ask your principal, guidance counsellor, or school administrator to nominate you. If your school has not participated before, it must register with the University of Toronto before the nomination deadline.
Step 2: Apply for Admission
Submit an application to at least one undergraduate programme at the University of Toronto through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) before October 16, 2026.
Step 3: Complete the Scholarship Application
After your school nomination is approved and your university application is submitted, you will receive a personalized link to complete the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application.
Submit the scholarship application and all required documents by November 6, 2026.
