Applications are now open for the Morocco Government Scholarships 2026/2027, offering 20 fully funded scholarships for eligible international students to study at Moroccan public universities, higher institutions, and vocational training centres.
The scholarships, provided through the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency (AMCI), support studies at the undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Successful applicants will receive:
- Monthly stipend of 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams (approximately US$190)
- One-way flight ticket to Morocco at the beginning of the programme
- Return flight ticket upon successful completion of studies
- Medical insurance coverage
Please note: The scholarship does not cover registration fees, accommodation, local transportation, or other personal study expenses.
Master’s and PhD students may also qualify for additional financial support to cover the printing of their thesis or dissertation.

Applicants can pursue programmes in areas including:
- Medicine
- Engineering and Technology
- Business and Management
- Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences
- Architecture
- Paramedical Sciences
- And many other disciplines offered by Moroccan public universities.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be between 19 and 23 years old.
- Hold or be completing a CAPE or Associate Degree (2025 or 2026).
- Have achieved strong academic results (Grade A or B).
- Meet the admission requirements of their chosen institution.
Master’s Applicants
Applicants must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Have a strong academic record (First Class or Second Class honours or equivalent).
PhD Applicants
Applicants must:
- Hold a relevant master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Submit a doctoral research proposal.
Language Requirements
Most programmes in Morocco are taught in French.
Successful applicants who are not yet proficient in French will attend French language preparation courses at the International Language Centre in Rabat before starting their academic programme.
Programmes in Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic Studies are taught in Arabic and require fluency in the language.
